Whether you live in a condo, an apartment, a two-story mansion, a sprawling ranch house or a country place with a wraparound porch, you know it as home. It’s so much more than just a place to hang out before you hit the hay.
When you enter you find love, security and joy. Its the place your heart feels warmest, your laughter comes easiest and your life is its richest. Home is the center of and the reason for what you do, and who you are.
You might ask, “how can a home be such a place”?
If it is a home where grace is spoken before meals, it is such a place. If it is a home where the Bible is read AND studied and discussed among you, then it is such a place. If it is a home that serves as a jumping off point for the family to go to church, not just on Sunday mornings and not just occasionally, but regularly, then it is such a place. If it is where the name of God is spoken, with reverence and awe and not with disrespect and indifference, it is such a place. In other words, a house becomes a true home when God is a part of the family.
A home is full when all the family members are present– including GOD. I encourage you to read Joshua 24 verses 14-27. And pray for blessings on your household.
