Sonora Sunset

Does it feel like spring just got passed over? It does here and I’m thinking summer! Parties, pools, fun and lots and lots of laughter!

We always enjoy making our parties ‘themed’ and when we do there’s a signature cocktail for the grown ups and a signature drink for the kiddies. This month’s  Cocktail of the Month is  the Sonora Sunset!  A little bit like a sunrise but with a nutty under note and a fresh zing of pineapple to top it off!   We like to say its a party in a glass!  (This is one drink you certainly want to sip, not gulp!)

It’s getting colder by the day down here and I looked at your cocktail and instantly felt like summer should be outside my door.

It looks lovely! But I am not sure if I would like as I am not a big fan of cocktails! Never thought of making some myself though.

you can make a virgin version. just omit the alcohol and add in 1/4 tsp pure almond extract. Shake over ice and pour~

It definitely doesn’t feel like Spring or summer here as winter is rapidly approaching (quicker than it should), but that doesn’t mean I can’t indulge in a bit of summer! Looks delish.
